We traded books and I fell in love with her delightful, hand drawn and lettered story, inspired by a peace walk, which ended in acts of social disobedience. I was praising God over and again with my eyes wide shut -- then I opened my eyes, closely holding Halley next to my heart to see God incarnate. It was Rico, the one who had made this ecstasy possible. Suddenly my Father in Heaven was present here in this FREEBIRTH as Rico, my lover -- as I was the White Hole in space for my baby Halley, her Source. Together we had just brought Heaven to Earth. Question from a Reader about LOTUS BIRTH;
"Just between you and me, I fail to see the value in schleping around a placenta--don't other mammals chew it off, don't they? Once the pulsing's stopped, it seems to me like it's done its job, and should be laid to rest (we sauteed our daughter's--mmm). With all the other stresses of having a newborn babe in a less than supportive non-village society, why add to the load? Am I missing something?"
