May 30-31 and June 1, 2003 - -I attended a workshop with Jeannine Parvati Baker in Vancouver in the Summer of 2002. I had previously been to many courses, workshops and conferences related to birth but I particularly wanted to hear Jeannine because of her work in my field of pre and perinatal psychology (I am currently completing my Doctorate Degree). I wholeheartedly agree with Gloria Lemay that Jeannine Parvati Baker will rock your world! You have never heard anyone deliver the message of normal birth like this woman. At a time when giving birth is more political than ever before, Jeannine's powerful message provides a shining light of faith and courage, showing us the way to conscious birthing - indeed, to conscious living!
